Dr. Tina Chiou is a residency-trained optometrist who provides primary eye care to the highest level of practice. This includes the treatment and management of glaucoma, as well as checking for eye diseases related to diabetes and high blood pressure. She also has experience in specialty contact lenses, multi-focal contact lenses, and LASIK co-management. Passionate about helping her younger patients, Dr. Chiou is certified in Ortho-K and MiSight contact lenses, both are treatments that aim to slow down the progression of nearsightedness. She has taken care of patients in this practice since 2013.
Dr. Chiou grew up in Taiwan, and she completed college and optometry school in the United States. She is fluent in Mandarin and English, and has basic knowledge of Spanish. She is actively involved in local organizations such as Young & Healthy and is a Board Member at Friends of Foothill Family. In her spare time, Dr. Chiou enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in San Marino with her two daughters (five and two years old) and husband, who is an ophthalmologist.
